When we say "AI-native studio," we do not mean we build AI products for clients (though we do that too). We mean we use AI tools across our own work — design, engineering, and QA — as part of our standard practice.
This is what we actually do. Not a vision statement. A description of current tooling.
Design: research synthesis and pattern detection
Our UX research process generates large volumes of qualitative data: interview transcripts, usability session recordings, survey responses, support tickets. AI tools help us synthesize this faster and more consistently than manual analysis.
We also use AI for rapid prototyping exploration. When we are in the early divergent phase of a design problem, AI-generated variations let us explore a wider solution space in less time. We evaluate the outputs critically — the goal is breadth of exploration, not finished design.
Pattern detection has been the most consistently useful application. Spotting inconsistencies across a large component library, flagging accessibility violations, identifying where a proposed design deviates from the system — these are tasks where AI assistance reduces hours of manual review to minutes.
Development: code generation and review
Our engineers use AI-assisted code generation for boilerplate, test scaffolding, and repetitive patterns. The time savings are real. The quality ceiling is not as high as experienced engineers without assistance — but the floor is significantly higher for junior tasks.
Code review assistance catches a category of issues that humans miss in routine reviews: subtle type errors, missing edge case handling, inconsistent error handling across a module. It does not replace review. It makes review faster and more thorough.
We are careful about where we use generation versus where we do not. Core business logic, security-sensitive code, and anything that needs to be understood and maintained long-term gets written by humans who understand it.
QA: intent-driven validation with AURA
AURA, our release confidence platform, uses AI to maintain and execute intent-driven test suites. Self-healing locators, failure clustering, and coverage gap detection reduce the maintenance burden of keeping automation working as products evolve.
The intent-driven approach means we are validating outcomes, not UI states. This makes our test suites more resilient to cosmetic changes and more meaningful as indicators of real system health.
What we don't use AI for
Client relationships. Strategic decisions about what to build. Creative direction on new products. The parts of our work that require genuine judgment about what is good, what is right, and what will last.
AI tools are good at pattern-matching within a defined problem space. They are not good at defining the problem space. That remains the most important human contribution to the work.
